Rocky Top to Host Catalog Release Party

Bryantsville, KY - October 10, 2007 – More than 500 people turned out for Rocky Top Log Furniture & Railing’s catalog release party Saturday, November 3.  Eddie Montgomery led a motorcycle brigade as he arrived just before 2:00 to greet the crowd and sign autographs.  Country music star Montgomery, of duo Montgomery Gentry, is featured in Rocky Top’s new catalog.  Rocky Top owner and lead designer Tommy Mitchell designed the interior and custom furniture for Montgomery’s new recording studio at the entertainer’s home in Boyle County.

“Log Jam”, the daylong party, featured live music from Erica Martin and Kickstart, prizes, and food with proceeds benefiting the Garrard County Humane Society.

Governor Ernie Fletcher also made an appearance at Log Jam, making a stop with several other politicians along their Central Kentucky bus tour.  Visitors included Senator Mitch McConnell, State Senator David Williams, and Secretary of State Trey Grayson.

Rocky Top also premiered its newly remodeled showroom.  The showroom has been expanded and renovated to better showcase the log furniture.
